SAMBAL runs a range of programs designed to address the diverse educational and developmental needs of underprivileged children across South Asia. From direct child sponsorship to technology education and community projects, every program is focused on creating lasting change.
Child Sponsorship Program
Establish a one-on-one, caring relationship with an individual child and nurture their development through long-term correspondence and financial support. 100% of your contributions will go to your sponsored child.
- Annual financial support until the child turns 18

Technology Education Program
SAMBAL Technology Labs overcome the digital divide by providing underprivileged children with access to computers, the internet, and instruction in Computer Science and English. Three labs are currently operating in Northern Sri Lanka.

Solar Panel Initiative
SAMBAL has helped provide solar panel lighting to children's homes in areas affected by frequent power cuts. This initiative enables children to continue studying despite unreliable electricity supplies.

Counseling & Support
Children affected by regional conflict and displacement often need emotional support alongside educational resources. SAMBAL works with local organizations to provide counseling and mental health support to affected children.

School Supplies Distribution
Basic school supplies can make a profound difference for children from low-income families. SAMBAL distributes stationery packs, backpacks, and educational materials directly to children in need.

Educational Field Trips
